			 BHAGAT PIPA JI
Bhagat Pipaji was one the bhagats of Bhagati movement.

Bhagat Pipaji was born in 1425 in Gagaraun , Jhalawar District of Rajasthan in a royal family.

It is beleived that Bhagat Pipaji was a devotee of Goddess Bhavani whose idol was enshrined in a temple within the premises of his palace.
There is a story that once Goddess Bhavani came to his dream and told her to get initiated.Bhagat Pipaji went to kashi to get initiated from Bhagat Ramanandji, but Bhagat Ramanandji refused to see him in his gaudy robes.Bhagat Pipaji put off his those wearing and put on sadhu cholla( A Saint Dress). But when Bhagat Pipaji found that the God's meditation is more contented than the false and unstable wealth of this world, he left the kingdom and start worshiping God all the eight pahars (around the clock). After giving up his kingdom he went to Dwarka (Gujrat) and selected a cave to be his place of worship. From there Bhagat Pipaji daily used to walk to the Krishna Temple on the sea coast through a tunnel. The temple is still a popular place of pilgrimage; and a fair is held there annually in Bhagat Pipaji's memory.

After a moment of enlightment, he gave up idol worship .Bhagat Pipaji and his wife started living a jungle. Along with his wife Bhagat Pipaji travelled through the whole country to spread God' message.
Bhagat Pipaji became worshipper of the formless one(Nirguna).

In his hymns in Shri Guru Granth sahib Bhagat Pipaji said the body itself is the God's temple So, we need not to make stone images of him and burn incense or light candles in front of them.
